Marriage* Matilda Coontz married Fredrick Hill; Matilda married Frederick Hill, s/o John HIll tahe Revolutionary Soldier who built a stone house used as an inn. In 1815, Frederick Hill was sued by Phillip Koontz in Randolph Co. There is no evidence as to the nature of the
suit.

After Frederick died in 1852, Matilda married Garrett Cade on 17 Mar 1855 and they continued to live in the stone house that John Hill had built until as
late as 1863.
